Studies according to G.L.P.

AgriScience is a Contract Research Organization operating in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (G.L.P.), as defined by the O.E.C.D. Series on Principles of Good Laboratory Practice, the EU legislation (Directives 2004/9 / EC and 2004 / 10 / EC) and the national legislation (Joint Ministerial Decision SCC 273/2000).

Following a successful inspection by the General Chemical State Laboratory of Greece, AgriScience received its first G.L.P. certificate in May 2018, where it is stated that it has been organized and works as a Test Facility according to G.L.P. Principles performing studies on plant protection products.

The G.L.P. studies are carried out following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of AgriScience.

AgriScience provides the following types of G.L.P. studies:

  • Residues in/on crops (MoR / Decline).
  • Crop rotation.
  • Drip / Drench Irrigation Residue.
  • Post Harvest.
  • Processing.
  • Seed Dressing & Drilling.
  • Residues in the soil.

In summary, we offer the following G.L.P. services:

  • Study directorship and project management of Residue Studies.
  • Management of Multi-Site trials.
  • Quality Assurance with internal Quality Assurance Unit.
  • Drafting of Study Plans or Field Phase Plans.
  • Selection of suitable locations in Greece.
  • Application techniques according to G.A.P. (Good Agricultural Practice).
  • Performance of both field and glasshouse trials.
  • Organizing of air-freight or freezer-truck shipments directly from our field station to any analytical laboratory of sponsor’s choice.
  • Residue Analysis though a network of collaborating G.L.P. analytical laboratories.
  • Drafting of Final Reports or Field Phase Reports.
