AgriScienceGEO was established in February 2012 and it is located in the area of Thermi, Thessaloniki, Greece. The main activity of AgriScienceGEO is in research and development experimentation services in agricultural sciences.

The company operates as an independent private company and collaborates with various contract research organizations, research institutes and analytical laboratories in Greece and abroad. The founders and shareholders of the company are agronomists with long-term experience in the field of agricultural experimentation and plant production. AgriScienceGEO scientific personnel consists of experienced agronomists who carry out the field and lab phases of the trials with high accuracy and responsibility. The trials are performed using up-to-date and appropriate equipment, which is calibrated and checked before each use.

whoweare2Since its establishment, AgriScienceGEO has been certified as a GEP Testing Facility in accordance with Good Experimental Practice (GEP) and has been conducting a series of field and lab trials on a variety of crops and on various target organisms. In 2017 AgriScienceGEO was also certified as a GLP Testing Facility in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and it is conducting field residue trials.

The types of trials performed include crop efficacy and selectivity/crop safety trials (GEP), harvest/yield trials (GEP), demonstration trials (GEP), laboratory trials (GEP), field residue studies (GLP) and processing studies (GLP).

AgriScienceGEO has tested various types of plant protection products, which include insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, acaricides, nematicides, molluscicides, plant growth regulators. It has also carried trials for biocides, bio-stimulants, fertilizers, soil conditioners, etc.

 The field trials are carried out all over Greece, on a wide range of crops such as cereals (wheat, barley, maize, rice, etc.), berries (strawberry), various arable crops (cotton, tobacco, sugar beet, oilseed rape, sunflower, soybean, potato, etc.), pulses, grapes, orchards (stone fruit, pome fruit, citrus, nuts, olive, etc.), vegetables (solanaceous, cucurbits, bulbs, tubers and roots, leaf vegetables, etc.), ornamentals and many others.

Tests are also performed on non-crop land, stored products, storage areas and in the laboratory.

AgriScienceGEO also owns equipment for insect rearing and laboratory tests.
